This November and December, Page of Plymouth offers a unique, hands-on chance to delve into the archives at The Box for a glimpse of 16th Century life. Professional archivist Victoria Northwood will run two public workshops in The Cottonian Research Room that give an introduction to the world of archives: what survives and how it’s cared for, whose stories we can find, whose are missing – and why.Join professional archivist Victoria Northwood for an introduction to Plymouth’s archives: the challenges of investigating the Elizabethan period, what survives and how it’s cared for, and whose stories we can find.
There are two free sessions with places available:

9th December 10.30-12.30pm
