Join us for our next ‘paeds and pizza’ event with a focus on paedaitric surgery ?We will have two guest speakers:
Mr Haytham Kubba is a consultant paediatric otolaryngologists, he is one of only a handful of ENT surgeons in the UK who work exclusively with children. He is the subdean for child health at the University of Glasgow and president-elect of the British Association for Paediatric Otolaryngology. He will be discussing ENT surgery in children and what his typical week looks like, alongside some interesting cases and images!
Mr Martyn Flett is a consultant paediatric surgeon and urologist at the Royal hospital for Children in Glasgow. He will also be discussing his pathway to becoming a paediatric surgeon and what his day-to-day practice involves.
There will be free pizza at this event! We will also be taking donations for kids OR, a charity that installs paediatric operating rooms in low and middle-income countries with the aim of bringing access to safe surgery to every child who needs it!
