✅ Develop the ability to assist in dive emergencies using a variety of techniques.
Throughout the course, you will go through rescue exercises and emergency scenarios, gaining the confidence needed to help others in distress. You’ll also learn how to self-rescue, recognize and manage stress in other divers, and rescue both panicked and unresponsive divers. The course exposes you to a variety of real-life situations and equips you with the knowledge and skills necessary to assist safely and effectively.
Course Structure
📌 Part 1: Knowledge Development & Pool Practice
📍 Scuba 2000 Dive Pool
📌 Part 2: Certification Dives
🌊 Four Open Water Rescue Scenarios at a local dive site.
⏳ Schedule: The course typically runs over a weekend. You'll complete the class and pool segments in a full-day session, followed by four Open Water Rescue Scenarios the next day.
What You’ll Need?
📢 Prerequisites:
✔️ Advanced Open Water certification (PADI or equivalent from another recognized scuba training organization).
✔️ Must be 12 years or older.
✔️ Valid First Aid & CPR certification (within the last two years).
🎒 Equipment:
🔹 Day 1 (Pool Session): We provide all required equipment.
🔹 Day 2 (Open Water Scenarios): Rental package available for $80, including a tank, weights, BCD, wetsuit, regulator with integrated computer, hood, and gloves.
🔹 Pocket mask required (not included).
🔹 All other training equipment (oxygen units, CPR mannequins, etc.) will be provided.
