This is a 3-day certification course where individuals will learn how to safely manage, perform in, and care for a tail. Students will also become proficient in mermaid rescue maneuvers. This is the only course that includes an open water session. Prerequisites:
Must be 12 years of age or older
Participants must be able to confidently swim at least 100m and float comfortably on the surface for at least 10 minutes
The course consists of knowledge development sessions, 2 confined water sessions and 2 open water sessions. Successful students will earn their PADI Advanced and PADI Mermaid Certification.
