Paddy’s Day weekend in association with South Charlotte Dog Rescue.A serious weekends craic at Mary's in store for you this St Patrick’s Day. This will be a three day event spread over Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th and of course the main day itself, Monday 17th. So there will be plenty of chances to dust off your dancing shoes, loosen up the vocal cords and sip a few pints.
We’re swinging the doors of the bar open at 9am on Saturday 15th for an Irish breakfast (served until 12pm) as well as all your other favorites. Ireland play Italy in Six Nations Rugby, live in the bar from 10.15am, along with a host of other live Gaelic Games.
Under the big tent in the afternoon we’ll have Jim Gallagher from 12pm playing some great Irish Tunes, with local favorites The Leftovers live on stage from 3pm. U2 cover band ‘Bullet in the Blue Sky’ finish off the night, with the headline act taking the stage at 7pm.
A great start to the weekend, we’ll also have Irish dancers swinging through the bar, as well as local bagpiper Jimmy Brennan.
On Sunday, we’re hosting another big one. We’ll be open for food and libations from 10am, with Irish dancers and bagpipers throughout the day. Kevin Cosgrove will be back on stage from 12pm to start the sing song. Ghosts of Bannockburn are headling the evening at 3pm with their style of Irish folk rock, closing out the festivities under the big tent.
On the main day itself, we’ll be opening once again at 10am. With Irish dancers and bagpipers throughout the day, enjoy music by Kevin Cosgrove from 1pm, and Ghosts of Bannockburn once again headlining the Big Tent to round off a solid weekend of festivities.
We’ll hopefully have a wee bit of something for everyone throughout the two days, so be sure to swing by and help drown the shamrock.
