The former Paddock Club was an establishment founded as a country and western night club and then changed in format to serve as eastern North Carolina’s longest-running LGBTQ+ club, operating from 1973 until 2003.Emerge Gallery & Art Center, Home of the Pitt County Arts Council, is proud to announce the establishment of the Paddock Club Pop Up events at The State Theatre to serve as a welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community.
