Join outdoor guide, Sam Armacost, for an interactive conversation about her 103-day canoe expedition on the Mississippi River, coming back to the “real world”, and connecting with awe and adventure in our day-to-day lives. This program is for all ages.Sam (she/her) has worked as a canoe guide and program coordinator in the environmental + outdoor recreation industry for over a decade. She has followed the currents that paddling, environmental stewardship, and racial justice continue to lead her. In 2023, she started the group BIPOC Outdoors Twin Ports to co-create more opportunities for People of Color to spend time outside - in community.
