Who needs a gym? Cardio and strength training happens right here on your paddleboard. Each 60-minute PaddleFit SUP class offers interval training on the water, where you will alternate between sprint-paddleboarding and completing a set of exercises, such as squats, pushups, burpees, lunges, sit-ups and more to increase board skills, balance, endurance, strength and focus. This class is designed to accommodate all skill levels but participants must have some prior SUP experience and know how to swim.Hanalei SUP Yoga founder and instructor, Jana Rife holds an E-RYT 500 hour yoga teacher training certification registered with Yoga Alliance, a level 2 paddle board yoga certification from Lazy Dog Paddle Yoga in Key West, Florida, she is a PaddleFit PRO coach and has a World Paddle Association Class II Instructor Certification. Jana is also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Jana is passionate about sharing her knowledge of SUP and yoga in a safe and enjoyable way.
