About this Event
Join us for an opportunity to experience the Tualatin River at night! Tualatin Riverkeepers and the City of Tigard are partnering up to offer an evening paddle from Cook Park to explore and learn about the night life in our watershed via kayak. Once our eyes adjust to the dark, we'll keep them open for signs of the nocturnal and crepuscular wildlife that lives along the river, and talk about what many other nighttime creatures get up to in our watershed. And if we're lucky, we might get a good chance to see the stars too.
We'll meet at Cook Park Boat Ramp to prepare for our round trip paddle. Wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting wet, and leave as many valuables at home as possible. We also recommend reviewing the General Paddle Trip Information sheet before the paddle trip. REVIEW IT HERE.
And don't forget! Tualatin Riverkeepers Members receive a 20% discount on Guided Paddle Trips! Send an email to [email protected] for information about applying discount and promotional codes, and visit www.tualatinriverkeepers.org/get-involved for more information on how to become a member if you're not already.
