This course delivers the personal skill level and leadership ability required to lead a group of paddlers in a mixed craft fleet such as Stand Up Paddleboard, Canoe, Kayak, in appropriate locations, up to moderate inland and sheltered tidal conditions, and moving water that has a discernible green flow.It is ideal for paddlers who are at 3 star / Canoe Award / White Water Award / Touring Award / Sheltered Water SUP Award standard who have also completed the Foundation Safety and Rescue Training course.
The course content is delivered over 2 days training in personal skills, leadership and rescue, followed by a separate two-day assessment.
Once training has been completed candidates have up to three years to complete the assessment prerequisites and progress to assessment.
All Kit and Equipment such as Wetsuits, Buoyancy Aids, Boats and Paddles are included but please bring your own if you have them.
