Join us for a paddle 'n pick event on the lower Salt River! Volunteers will collect trash and debris accessible by watercraft between Goldfield (launch) and Phon D Sutton (take out).Event is weather permitting and attendance dependent. Please confirm by selecting 'Going'; group size may be limited based on buddy system for safety purposes. Ensure you have 'All Notifications' selected to receive updates, shuttle coordination, and all other Discussion notifications (default is Highlights only).
Volunteer passes will be provided for the duration of the event. ATB annual passes are also valid at this Tonto day use area.
PFD and personal watercraft required, must wear PFD for the duration of the event. Please check the weather and water temperatures and dress appropriately (water temp). Don’t forget to bring your personal items like: water, electrolytes, sunscreen, snacks and a drybag to store them and your electronic devices safely. Trash grabbers and bags will be provided.
