Padan Elementary Garden Installation Workday
Welcome to the Padan Elementary Garden Installation event at Eugene Padan Elementary School! Join us on Sat, May 4, 2024 at 10 AM as we come together to create a beautiful garden space for our school. No gardening experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help out.
Come learn about W**d managment, sheet mulching, and the power of layered planting!
- Please wear closed toe shoes, sun protection, bring gloves and water.
- Bring your own lunch
- If you are under 18: your legal guardian must sign a release of liability when you check-in.
- You will NOT need a copy of your ticket.
Join usto prepare the space, spread woodchips, and a planting workshop. If you are curious as to how to arrange a new garden space around existing plants, consider attending!
This workshop will include moving woodchips, digging holes for trees and plants, and moving plants, mulch and soil.
This project is hosted in conjunction with Vacaville Unified School Distrcit
