Same idea, different location! Just for this week we are meeting at Le Claire Park in Downtown Davenport to work dogs and talk about heavy distractions and dog etiquette in busy places. I love taking my dogs with me everywhere but there are rules that we should follow to make sure our dogs are having a good time and the public at large isn't bothered. After training the Heel.Sit dogs (minus Mundie) will be heading to the market to get snacks and hang! If you don't come to train, be sure to come say hi! Since Mundie won't be there causing scene I'll be able to chat and the rest of the dogs will be more than happy to get some pets (except maybe Marzen, he's shy).Let's get back to working on social skills in a controlled environment. We will be practicing all the basic necessities to function safely in public while also building on leash socialization skills.

This kind of work is mostly about patience so expect to do a lot of watching and waiting.
This is beginner friendly. Everyone works at their own pace.
Mildly reactive/socially awkward dogs are welcome. If you aren't a beginner feel free to come flex your skills and practice group work. If you don't have a dog but still want to learn I'll lend you one.
Bring:
Lots of treats.
Towel/blanket/yoga mat might be handy. Chair might be a good idea.
