In the lead up to the People's Blockade, we have a very special event to contemplate the reasons we are taking action for climate justice. Join us as we welcome six young people visiting Muloobinba/Newcastle from the small Pacific island nations of Kiribati and Tuvalu.
Come and connect with the rich culture and traditions practised by I-Kiribati and Tuvaluan communities for millennia.
Hear stories of resilience in the face of the intense impacts of our changing climate on their traditional homelands and ways of life.
Stand in solidarity with our Pacific neighbours as we contemplate
how we can best respond to the climate crisis together.
This is a family-friendly event and young people are especially welcome to attend.
