Explore Tucson with the Photographic Arts Council Los Angeles!
Meet us in the desert for an immersive weekend of photography and art, as PAC LA visits Tucson, Arizona. This long-awaited trip has been collaboratively curated with the Center For Creative Photography, and will be stewarded by Michael Dawson, PAC LA Board President.
Our experience begins with a welcome reception and dinner at the home of Andrew Schultz, a notable photography collector and head of the art department at the University of Arizona.
Saturday's activities include a VIP guided tour of two impressive exhibitions at the Center for Creative Photography, a gourmet lunch, a studio visit, and a private reception with a local artist at the Etherton Gallery.
On Sunday morning we'll visit one of the many photography book publishers working in the area before wrapping up our time together.
The trip fee includes the Friday reception and dinner, lunch on Saturday, and the reception on Saturday, along with VIP admission to scheduled stops on the itinerary. In addition, PAC LA will be making a significant donation from the trip proceeds to the Photographics Arts Council Los Angeles Research Fellowship, celebrating its 10th year of supporting student research at CCP.
