"The Knowing", Sean's latest album, is a subversive and fashionable pivot to a new sound and approach, one welcomed by fans both old and new. Engaging several collaborators for the record, including longtime accomplice Pascal Chenard, hypnagogig pop experimentalist Marci, Belgian singer David Numwami and JJ Weihl: the album is full of life, both from Sean, his talented collaborators and friends, and a generally indescribable aura that just has it.
Tucked into the mix is a tender cover of Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life", that is cleverly and appropriately strummed softly in the vein of Green Days' "Good Riddance". The new album is out on the 27th of June.
