Junior Ages 4 - 7 Chemical Engineering

In this camp, students will learn the three states of matter. Then, they will use the EFK Engineering Design Process to create a lava lamp using a chemical reaction.

Students will also have the opportunity to make their own play dough using simple household materials. Students will learn how different materials react chemically and how they can change the physical properties of their Presto-Chango Dough that glows in the dark
Seniors Ages 8 - 12
Electrical Workshop
This is an illuminating experience you don't want to miss. Students will learn the fundamentals of electricity and how to create a circuit. Students will construct a simple, series and parallel paper circuit, that can successfully light one or more LED bulbs. They will apply what they have learned while using the EFK Engineering Design Process to create a light-up greeting card.
Using Snap Circuits, students will also explore other ways to build a circuit. Recognize symbols used on a circuit and understand the importance of checking a circuit before turning it on
