The Clay Drop In is a one and a half hour self directed hand building clay session where individuals and groups can use our space to make something out of clay. During the Drop In there is no formal instruction or assigned project however there will be an experienced clay instructor to help set you up and guide you in making your ceramic piece. In this session all works are created by hand with various clay tools.Note: This session does not include the use of a pottery wheel. If you are interested learning how to use the pottery wheel check out our wheel throwing courses.

⏰ Time: 1pm - 2:30pm
📍 Location: Beyond Pottery, Burlington, ON
👥 Suitable for: Complete beginners and those who have done pottery before. The Clay Drop In is for adults and kids (ages 4 & up). Please note that children under the age of 13 need to be accompanied and supported by an adult (18 years or older).
🎨 Includes: Clay, tools, glazes, and kiln firings. Each person will receive 1.5lbs of clay to work with and will be provided with various clay tools and templates to make a hand-built ceramic piece. Coloured slips are available for you to paint your clay works.
🏺 Picking up your works: Pieces usually take 3-4 weeks to be completed through the drying and firing process. Students will be emailed once their works are ready for pick up.
☝️ Tips: Jewelry might get in the way. Bring an apron or an old T-shirt & bring your inspiration.
