What the Eye Brought Back is an exhibition that brings together the work of eleven artists showing at P420 for the first time.Everything stems from travel, from that particular existential condition of the observer who moves through the world—a mobile witness gathering signs, images, and presences without the urgency to define them.
The exhibition is a constellation of returned gazes, of encounters with works and artists that have settled into the visual and emotional memory of the viewer.

The selected artists, encountered over time and in various contexts, do not respond to a common thematic principle but inhabit a shared horizon of sensibility. Their juxtaposition is founded on the logic of a notebook, an open and organic archive.
