Step in from the cold and slow things down with a cozy, hands-on art experience at the museum! This PA Day, learn the basics of weaving while creating a small woven project to take home.
Using a simple cardboard loom with warp threads already in place, you’ll add colourful weft threads and watch your design come together one row at a time. The activity takes about an hour and is beginner-friendly. A helpful skill for participants is the ability to tie an overhand knot (the first step in tying shoelaces), as it’s used throughout the project.
