About this Event
Science Saturdays are back with the start of the new school year! It’s time to sign up for IHMC's September event. This free, hands-on science experience takes place at IHMC, 40 S. Alcaniz St. in Pensacola. Students in grades 3 and 4 are invited to learn to program tiny ozobot robots. No prior programming experience is required. This event will be led by Mr. Heath Parr, a teacher at Brown Barge Middle School.
We hope you’ll be able to join us as we have fun doing hands-on STEM activities while we learn about robots and computer programming using the Scratch programming language, which is for kids.
The season sponsors, Florida Power and Light, the Florida Blue Foundation, Cox, the Altera Group, and the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, make it possible for interested students to enjoy science and STEM for free at IHMC.
Attendance at each session is limited to registered ticket holders. If there are no tickets left, please click JOIN WAITLIST. It’s worthwhile to join the list, as we usually get cancellations before each Science Saturday. And… if you don’t get a ticket after joining the list, you can request priority registration for next time. Questions? Please call the IHMC front desk at 850-202-4462.
Science is super fun! We hope your 3rd and 4th grade students will join us at 9 am. (Please register students in grades grades 5, 6, and 7 for 11 am. Both sessions will be age appropriate, so please register for the correct time.)
