“It’s Jazz. It just doesn’t sound like it.”
This is how virtuoso guitarist Oz Noy describes his intoxicating blend of jazz, funk, rock, blues, and R&B.
OZ NOY
started his career at 13 playing jazz, blues, and rock. At 16, he was playing with top artists and already at 24, he was one of the most established guitar players in the country.
Since his NYC arrival in 1996, Oz has made a huge impact on the local and international scene. All-stars such as Keith Carlock, Anton Fig, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Dave Weckl often contribute on drums, with bassists Will Lee, James Genus, and Reggie Washington.
In 2003, Oz released his debut “”Oz Live” recorded at NYC's legendary Bitter End. In 2005, he released his acclaimed album HA! with his all-star band feat. Fig, Carlock, Lee and Genus plus special guests Mike Stern and George Whitty. Later that year saw the release of "Fuzzy", with all-star band incl. guests Vinnie Colaiuta, bassist Jimmy Johnson, and keyboardists Whitty and Jim Beard.
Oz's fourth album "Schizophrenic", featured Lee, Fig, Carlock, Weckl, Ricky Peterson, Chris Palmero, and special guest Steve Lukather.
JIMMY HASLIP
The renowned bassist, arranger, producer, composer was raised in the New York area and based in Los Angeles since the late '70s.
In 1978 he met guitarist Robben Ford and keyboardist Russell Ferrante and formed a group for Robben's first solo album on Electra-Asylum. The acclaimed "The Inside Story" became a landmark recording that led to the formation of the Yellowjackets and their 1980 debut on Warners Bros.
Jimmy is actively composing, arranging, producing, performing with Yellowjackets, the two time GRAMMY winners, and seventeen time nominees. Jimmy was also nominated for his 18th GRAMMY for the Jeff Lorber Fusion’s “Now Is The Time” which he co-produced.
ANTON FIG

In NYC, he became part of the session scene and recorded with Ace Frehley, Link Wray, Kiss, Cyndi Lauper, Bob Dylan, Madonna, Joan Armatrading, Paul Butterfield, Mick Jagger and hundreds more.
Anton formed the acclaimed band Spider, who originated the hit “Better Be Good To Me” – later covered to great success by Tina Turner.
