***For those who may not know I was diagnosed with a genetic disorder, cystic fibrosis, at birth. This causes issues with the respiratory system as well as the digestive system. Late 2023 I began fighting yet another case of pneumonia. Unlike the previous times before this one came with antibiotic resistant bacteria. The beginning of this year the decision was made to put me on IV medication in order to fight the infection. Every time we thought we beat the infection it would come back several weeks later. On top of this my liver began to progress to stage 2 liver disease, causing injury to my kidneys and seizures that could not be determined why they were happening or when until they were done. For over 28 hours it was uncertain if I was going to win this fight. Each time needing to be hospitalized for at least 6 up to 10 days. This makes it impossible to hold weight, muscle mass, and even an appetite; not even to mention a job. Due to these complications I had to re learn how to complete the simplest tasks such as brushing my teeth, placing a straw in a cup, or even holding a fork. I also now require oxygen, many medications and doctors' appointments, which all are very expensive. I am asking for help to cover all of the new medical equipment required to help make it through the day, and coverage for these extended stays in the hospital. Most importantly your love, thoughts, prayers, and good vibes are needed in hopes we can make it through the rest of this year on the upside.
