About this Event
Join Neal Warner, oyster enthusiast, to learn about the bivalve with the cult following. You'll learn to shuck safely, explore different species and growing regions, and leave with the confidence to serve oysters at your next party or holiday gathering! This class will not discuss oyster cookery - look elsewhere for po'boys and rockefeller. This is an exploration of oysters on the half shell. Tickets include oysters to practice with (and enjoy) during class.
We'll have a server available to take orders for drinks to sip on during class!
Enter the regular Strange Bird entrance, let the host know you're here for the class, and we'll direct you next door where we'll have our class. You're welcome to join us before or after at Strange Bird for dinner and drinks!
