About this Event
Co-Producing Oxfordshire’s SEND Vision: A Collaborative Workshop
We invite you to join us in co-producing a Vision for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Oxfordshire. This Vision will lay the foundation for a revised SEND Strategy and guide future improvements to better support our children and young people with SEND.
Why Your Input Matters
By working together, we can ensure that the voices of parents, carers, young people, and professionals are heard, creating a strategy that genuinely reflects our community’s needs and priorities. This is an opportunity for all key stakeholders to build shared ownership, strengthen trust, and support high-quality services that make a lasting difference.
Your insights and experiences are invaluable in creating a Vision that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of our community. Through this collaborative effort, we aim to:
• Ensure Shared Ownership: Foster a collective commitment among all stakeholders to implement and support the Vision.
• Align with Real Needs: Develop a Vision that resonates with the lived experiences and priorities of children, young people, and their families.
• Enhance Trust and Transparency: Build stronger relationships between families and service providers through open, collaborative dialogue.
• Promote Inclusive Decision-Making: Ensure that those directly impacted by SEND policies have a voice in shaping them.
What to Expect
This session will bring together families, health, education, and social care representatives, along with SEND voluntary sector leaders. Together, we will discuss, share experiences, and collaboratively build a Vision that sets a clear direction for SEND support in Oxfordshire.
