Join us for a night of comedy at Jericho's popular and stylish venue, Freud, whilst raising vital funds in aid of Headway Oxfordshire, a charity that supports people who have been affected by brain injury.

Nicholas Byard
Nick Byard is a civil servant who had an early mid-life crisis, decided to take up comedy and now describes himself as one of Reading's prominent citizens. Expect nerd joke and tightly written one liners from the 5th best gag writer in Reading.

Akshay Morye
Akshay Morye is an Oxford-based comic with an Indian passport. A comedian of unpronounceable proportions, Akshay is often described as cocksure and uncaring by his peers, and unfunny by those who know him better. He is actually better at writing AI than comedy. This is fortunate as AI is how he earns his bread, while his comedy prepares the world for certain apocalypse.

Matthew Hutchinson
Matt is a doctor - this has made his parents very proud. He’s also a stand-up comedian, this has made his parents very confused.
Back when he was younger and still trying to be cool, he was a DJ – playing in places including the Secret Garden party, Ministry of Sound and Egg London. 2 of his productions were broadcast on XFM (now Radio X). He now brings these skills to comedy – with the show “Mixtape, a comedy block party”. This mixed bill show enjoyed a successful run at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe and he returned to Edinburgh 2019 with HLM's Ania Magliano. 2018 finalist in the Leicester Square New Comedian and 2019 finalist in the Hackney Empire NATYS. Previously a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award, Amused Moose New Comic Award and So You Think You Are Funny.

William Stone is gathering moss. Stuck somewhere between reality and dreams, offering glimpses into his world through whimsical oneliners and oblique observations. BBC New Comedy Award Finalist 2018. Sam Lake
Sam Lake is a stand-up comedian, writer and presenter. Sam openly shares stories and details from his life as a semi-camp gay man, moving from a small mining village to a big city and gearing up to becoming a happily married man.
Sam has been performing comedy for 4 years, and has racked up a number of achievements, including winning Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year 2018 and Hastings Fringe Newcomer of the Year 2018. He’s had multiple sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, including his most recent offering, “Household Essentials”, a stand-up double-header with fellow comic Chloe Petts. He’s currently working on his debut hour for 2020, titled “Cake”.
