Part of the Celebration of Cycling, this ride will be led by local author and Cyclox member, Malcolm Pryce, the ‘The King of Welsh Noir’.
Uncover Oxford's literary figures by bike! CS Lewis, Evelyn Waugh, Oscar Wilde, John Betjeman, Lewis Carroll, William Shakespeare, Thomas Hardy, T.E. Lawrence, Geoffrey Chaucer, J.R.R. Tolkien, Percy Bysshe Shelley...
We will be cycling along part of the river towpath, with frequent stops to absorb the atmosphere and hear a little about each site's connection to literature.
Approximately 8 miles long. Expected duration: 2 hours.
Participating in the ride is free of charge, but you must reserve your place in advance.
