About this Event
Oxford Dam Saraniya Meditation Programme
Join us every third Saturday of the month at Yarnton Village Hall for a peaceful Meditation and Dhamma Programme, led by two monks. This event is an opportunity to immerse yourself in Buddha’s teachings, calm your mind, and nourish your soul.
Event Highlights:
• Morning Session (08:30 - 11:00): Pooja, Dhamma sermon, meditation, and Q&A
• Dana and Relaxation (11:00 - 12:30): Time for food, fellowship, and reflection
• Afternoon Session (12:30 - 3:45): Pirith chanting, Dhamma sermon, meditation, Q&A, and offering of merits
A Dhamma school for children will be held simultaneously in a separate room, guided by a monk, so families are welcome.
Additional Details:
• All food and drinks provided – just bring yourself and an open heart.
• Open to all levels – whether you’re new to meditation or experienced, all are welcome.
This program offers a serene environment to recharge, connect with like-minded individuals, and practice mindfulness. Join us to experience the peace, wisdom, and community that Dhamma brings. While it is a full-day event, you are most welcome to attend in a way that suits your schedule. You may choose to join us for the morning session, the afternoon session, or both. We look forward to your presence at any time that is convenient for you.
