A matinée (afternoon/evening) Afro-Latin event! Join us
for a 45-minute dancing class at 17:00, followed by
social dancing from 17:45 until 20:30-21:00.

At Common Ground Café in Jericho, Oxford.

With a spacious floor, great acoustics, and
air-conditioning, it’s the perfect place to dance!
🎶 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱?
The music will be based on the vibe of the crowd, but
expect a mix of:
40% Salsa, 40% Bachata, 15% Kizomba, and 5% other
genres (merengue, semba, cha-cha, etc.). Feel free to
share your track requests before or during the event!

There’s no charge to join, but we kindly ask you to
support the venue by enjoying drinks or food from the
bar. This keeps the event going and helps us host more
like this in Oxford!

class. If you enjoyed the class and want to show

We love dancing! It’s healthy, fun, and brings people
together. Plus, it’s a budget-friendly way to enjoy an
afternoon (much cheaper than a club night!).
Oxford Baila aims to make social dance accessible to
everyone and provide another chance to dance in our
beautiful city!
