About this Event
Oklahoma Writing Project Teacher Consultants will hands on literacy activities to increase writing opportunities in classrooms to impact student outcomes.
Participants will be exposed to appropriate grade-level writing activities that are aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards. Participants will interact with resources provided by State Department of Education to create a plan for their own classroom.
2 Tracks Available:
Elementary Track (Kdg-6th): Participants will study Depth of Knowledge and explore how that looks in the classroom. Participants will practice literacy activities and participant in lively discussion throughout the session. Session Host: Tamee Daniel Dale Public Schools
Secondary Track (7th-12th): Participants will explore the reading/writing connection with secondary students. Participants will explore hands on activities as students build a foundation to complete the ACT. Session Host: Cara Gaddy Pauls Valley Public School

Due to limited space, you will choose Elementary or Secondary track during registration.
No Cost to Oklahoma Public Resource Members who are be registered by October 25, 2024
Non Members:
Early Bird Registration: $75 (must register by November 1,2024)
Registration: $100 (after November 1, 2024)
