On Saturday, October 25th at 2:00 pm, the OWLs will visit the Hartford Stage (50 Church St., Hartford) for the first time. The play, Rope, asks the question "is there such a thing as a perfect crime?"The riveting crime thriller that inspired Alfred Hitchcock and Jimmy Stewart in 1948 gets a tantalizing new adaptation from playwright, Jeffery Hatcher. A murder has been committed, and the 2 killers host a dinner party in the very room where the victim's body is hidden. Drunk on arrogance, they claim it is the "perfect murder" and believe that getting caught is impossible. This must-see for fans of thrillers and crime dramas will captivate anyone who has ever been tempted to get away with something.
DEADLINE for registering and paying for this OWL event is October 10th.
If you are interested in attending this event for an afternoon of fun and suspense, please RSVP to this email and sent your check for $44 (regular price $55 with 20% group discount) to Mona Perlot, 473 Wood Hill Rd., Cheshire.
