Owl Lantern Clay Class at Centered Earth

October 23 clay + October 30 paint
Create your own owl votive lantern using handbuilding techniques in stoneware clay! Return for the 2nd class to paint your details with glaze. Our staff will add clear glaze before firing so the unpainted areas are a warm speckled brown, perfect for an owl body.
Adults and youth age 12+.
*Please plan for both nights. If you can't attend the 2nd class to paint, you must return during our walk-in hours within 2 weeks to paint your mug. After 2 weeks, unpainted mugs will be clear glazed at our discretion and fired without color.
Clay washes out, but remember to wear mess-friendly clothes. Projects will remain in the studio to dry before firing, clear glazing, and re-firing. Pieces will be available for pickup approx. 10 days after you return to paint.
