Happy Friday OverRun Project family! We are thrilled to announce our latest club run entering our rotation, followed by our brand new OverRun Social Pizza Night at GB Pizza Co! 🥳
If you would like to attend our pizza night, please let Harry know on WhatsApp by 30th November to book your place. Booking onto our club run does not reserve your pizza night place, only your club run 🍕
We will be meeting on Tuesday 3rd December outside GB Pizza Co in Margate at 18:30. This is a slow, conversational paced run for everyone of all abilities; everyone is welcome to come along and run towards a healthier mind!
‼️ The route will start and finish outside GB Pizza Company in Margate, this is a 3 lap route. We will start by heading towards Dreamland with the sea on out right hand side, we will cross the road at the pedestrian crossing before the roundabout, and head back towards the Arcades. We will then cross the road again by the Arcades using the pedestrian crossing, and again outside Beanos to bring us outside the Clocktower. We will follow Marine Drive into The Parade until we reach The Turner Contemporary where we will cross the road again using the pedestrian crossing, heading back towards GB Pizza with the sea on our right and complete the route twice more (X3 TOTAL). ‼️
⚠️ Please make sure you view the route in detail and be cautious and courteous to pedestrians, cars and hazards. ⚠️
🚨 We encourage you to wear lights and bright, reflective clothing to ensure you’re visible to drivers and pedestrians in low-light conditions; our winter routes will be lit by street lamps but additional lighting keeps you and the rest of the club safe. We also recommend grouping up and running with 3+ people together. 🚨
✅ Our club founder Harry and run group leader Megan will be leading and following the group to make sure everyone is on the correct route and nobody is left behind. Both Harry and Megan will both be marked with green lights at the front and back of the group. ✅
