A magnificent Grade I listed manor, it stands as a silent witness to centuries of history.
Step through the centuries. The original front door, weathered and steadfast, still guards the threshold. It has seen the comings and goings of lords, ladies, and restless spirits.
King Charles I, Oliver Cromwell, Sir Thomas Fairfax and even William of Orange, their names etched in history within the walls of this great house.
A lady in white, her gown trailing like mist, roams the ground floor corridor. Staff members speak of locked doors, and the chill of unseen company.
Visit Old Forde House for an unforgettable experience. Feel the weight of history, the pulse of forgotten lives. The original staircase, the ancient stove, and the butler’s bells await your curiosity.
Old Forde House has many documented hauntings over it's history. A ghostly figure of a lady dressed in white with flowing gowns has been seen walking the ground floor corridor, footsteps heard in the next room. It's been said that staff members have been locked in rooms whilst working, and the feeling of being watched at all times.
On previous occacions we have experienced incredible SLS Camera footage, full-blown estes method conversations with the other side and amazing scrying sessions, sometimes scary!
