Overlay returns to Downtown Springfield, MO October 3-4 for a 2 day festival event you won't want to miss. What's new at Overlay 2025?
We're packing in for a block party celebrating a stunning 6 story mural installation unfolding live by the tag team duo Emily Ding and Osiris Rain at The U on Jefferson Avenue. We've got the stage set with live DJ performances to keep the beat all weekend long and lots more. Here's what's new this year:
Premium VIP Bird's Eye Lounge
We're setting the bar high with a new Overlay VIP Experience. VIP tickets gain you access to the 4th floor glass front lounge with a perfect view of it all. Custom cocktails, live art and exclusive entertainment elevates the full festival experience for VIPs.
Pop Up Skate Park
We're stoked to partner with our friends at Springfield Skate Park to bring a pop up park to our downtown event. Our mini park will be pumped full of brand new OC Ramps and features. Whether you want to skate or prefer to watch, come out and enjoy!
Community Dining Hall
Grab a seat and stay awhile! We're partnering with Better Block SGF and local restaurants to pop up a self-service dining hall right in the middle of the action so you can soak it all in.
How it works: Just bring your phone to scan a QR code menu and order from your favorite spot for carry out or delivery! Partner restaurants include: Druff's, Wheelhouse, Greek Belly, and The Coffee Ethic.
Interactive Art Exhibits
417 local artists Brad Noble and Sarah Jones are bringing pop up art installations to live during Overlay and you don't want to miss them!
Art of Everyone Laser Guided Painting by Brad Noble: Join in on this interactive community art piece where artist Brad Noble laser guides your hand as you layer to a one of a kind canvas.
Animal X-ing By Sarah Jones: Walk along with the fantastical creatures by artist Sarah Jones and see how you stack up in this whimsical sculpture setting.
