Event Overview:Come together with us as we honor lives lost to drug overdose. This event aims to remember those lives, especially our fellow Hoosiers, and to raise awareness about this critical issue.
Event Details:
On Saturday, October 12, runners and walkers of all abilities, advocates, and affected individuals will unite on a scenic course along the Indianapolis Canal and through the Butler Campus. The money raised will support the Heart Rock Justus Family Recovery Center, ensuring that moms and children can live, grow, and be healthy together.
About Heart Rock Justus Family Recovery Center:
Since opening in November 2022, Heart Rock Recovery Center has served over 35 moms and 20 babies. It provides toddler-friendly subsidized housing and holistic substance use therapy for pregnant women and mothers (ages 18+) in recovery from substance use or dual diagnosis, helping keep families together throughout recovery in Marion County, Indiana.
How You Can Help:
Funds raised through 5K registrations and the fundraising efforts of teams and individuals will directly support the operations of Heart Rock Recovery Center, including subsidized housing for moms and babies.
Make an Impact:
Set up a team in honor of a loved one or friend.
Invite others to join you at the 5K or donate to your fundraising page. All donations are tax-deductible (as allowable by law) and go directly to support the Heart Rock Justus Family Recovery Center.
