Together, we will honor lives lost, support those in recovery, and raise awareness about overdose prevention.
During the event, you can:
💜 Receive Narcan education
💜 Hear testimonials from survivors and loved ones
💜 Create memorial bags
💜 Add your message to a community banner
🕯️ At 8:30 p.m., we’ll close the evening by lighting the town purple for International Overdose Awareness Day.
Can’t attend in person? You can still participate by picking up purple glow sticks or tea lights from participating businesses and lighting them at 8:30 p.m. in solidarity.
