About this Event
Do you ever feel doubt about your abilities and skills?
Do you ever feel like a fraud or that someone is going to say you are in the wrong room or wrong meeting?
Do you struggle feel comfortable applying for graduate-level roles, promotions or new opportunities?
Do these fears stop you from applying for your dream job, a promotion or a change in career path?
This workshop will delve into what causes imposter syndrome, the different types of imposter syndrome and how we can learn to lessen its effects on our lives. How can we learn to accept compliments about our performance, deserve the praise and stop ignoring the evidence that we can do our jobs, or have the experience to apply for the jobs we want and how can we learn to be proud of our skills and talents?
Open to students, staff and recent alums of CCCU, we hope you can join us to discuss imposter syndrome at our in-person workshop and discuss how we can work together to combat imposter syndrome and improve our own sense of value.
