About this Event
This is a unique human trafficking summit that goes far beyond human trafficking awareness training. Once a survivor exits the life, it’s the beginning of an often-complex healing journey. Survivors face many medical, mental health, and detox needs that go unmet due to a lack of resources and lack of funding. Front-line workers feel helpless as they struggle to find appropriate (and trauma informed) resources for their clients. This summit aims to bring collaboration, solutions, and support to address the barriers that survivors frequently must navigate as they heal.
There will be a panel discussion of subject matter experts discussing barriers and strengths as seen through their lens.
This summit is open to anyone in the community, but will be specifically helpful to law enforcement, NGOs, healthcare workers, social workers, frontline workers, and anyone who works with vulnerable populations.
The event is 9:00a.m. - 3:30p.m. EST
