What better way to experience the natural winter beauty of Wade House than by a cozy sleigh ride with family, friends and loved ones? Glide through fields and forests while snuggled under a warm blanket listening to the jingle of harness bells against a backdrop of the stately Wade House Stagecoach Inn and surrounding grounds. Rekindle memories of seasons past and make a host of new ones during this one-of-a-kind, special winter event. As part of your ticket you also receive access to the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum and snowshoes are available on a first-come, first-served basis; quantities limited.
Ride Times (every half hour)
10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., noon, 12:30 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Your ticket purchase time is your sleigh ride start time.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to this time.

About the Location
Explore the horse-powered world that existed before trains, planes and automobiles at Wade House. Here the golden era of carriages lives on forever, with historic structures and a state-of-the-art carriage museum highlighting all the wonders of a horse powered world. The site features the stagecoach inn built and owned by Sylvanus and Betsey Wade, the first European settlers of Greenbush. The site is also home to a blacksmith shop, water-powered sawmill, and the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum, which houses Wisconsin’s largest collection of carriages and wagons.

No snow? No problem! Wade House offers horse-drawn wagon rides without snow.
