Join us for the final day of this exciting exhbition on Saturday, November 29th from 3-7pm. Featuring the artists of Gallery BQE
Outside:IN celebrates the deep dedication of the artists who have collectively reimagined the underpass of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Under the BQE highway in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this unique initiative was launched in 2023 by local artist Kalcium Fortified to transform the often-overlooked space beneath the highway into dynamic gallery walls. Here, visual artists come together to share their work, inspire one another, and breathe life into forgotten spaces. Celebrate the power of art to unite, inspire, and invigorate at Outside:IN
The exhibition begins under the overpass of the BQE at Metropolitain & Meeker and continues into the BAH Gallery at Brooklyn Art Haus. All artworks are for sale on the walls at Brooklyn Art Haus.

About GalleryBQE
This showcase features the extraordinary work of artists from varying backgrounds who have collectively transformed the underbelly of the BQE highway into a living canvas. Using mostly wheat paste, these artists revitalize neglected areas, while fostering community within thevery structure that was built to divide neighborhoods. Outside:IN is an innovative art exhibit that brings the vibrant energy from the GalleryBQE pillars into the gallery space. The two sections beneath the overpass from Metropolitan to Lorimer have become a treasure trove of hidden gems—each piece telling a story of resilience, creativity, and collaboration.
