About this Event
The power of being one's authentic self at work and the keys to reinventing your networking
OUTSEAD and Woman in Business, invites you to an insightful panel discussion on the importance of lesbian visibility.
Join us for a conversation that delves into the significance of being an openly lesbian professional in today’s society.
Marion Verborg, Chief of staff and INSEAD Alumni board member will lead an engaging interview with Pippa Dale, Founder of LBTQWomen and Director of the London Stock Exchange, and Marion Bentata, Founder of Women of Interbank, and Chief Administrative Officer, Global Technology Services at State Street.
Together, they will explore what it means to be ‘out’ as a lesbian in both the workplace and broader society and how networking can be reinvented to best suit women. The discussion will cover Dale and Bentata's experiences during their careers, the benefits and challenges they encountered, and practical advices on being openly lesbian at work. Attendees will gain insights into navigating relationships with peers, colleagues, clients, and senior management while staying true to oneself.
This event will combine both theoretical perspectives and practical advice and will be followed by an open Q&A session and a social drink, providing attendees the opportunity to ask questions and participate in the conversation.
Do not miss this chance to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be authentic in the workplace and how we can all contribute to a more inclusive environment!
