** This is not a protest! This is a leafleting event. **There will be a lot of foot traffic & people driving by. This is a great opportunity to raise awareness on behalf of the horses.
Horseracing is whipping, tongue ties & mouth bits, painful injuries, solitary confinement and slaughter.
Roughly 1800 horses are killed every year at US tracks while training, racing or found dead in their stall. For over a hundred years, these deaths have gone unnoticed. But now, thanks to Horseracing Wrongs, their deaths are being exposed to media and to the public.
I have lots of posters but you can always make your own if you would like to. I will provide the leaflets to hand out.
*** Demo Area/Parking : We will stand across the street from Bowlero (with the track right behind us). We can park in the Bowlero parking lot (near Giant).
