The Innovation Academy in Alpharetta is holding a Star Party on Thursday evening, January 23rd - they have asked the AAC for assistance in bringing some scopes so as many students as possible can observe the night sky. If you have a scope/Seestar and are willing to brave the traffic on a week night, we'd love you to come along and help out.
I've posted a start time of 5:30pm to allow for setup while its still light out, but arriving later would not be a problem. The Star Party will be held on the football fields, and there appears to be a large carpark adjacent.
