About this Event
Acting is an ever developing skill and art form enhanced by continued study and exercise.
Led by Robert Morgalo and his team, this once-per-week workshop is designed to expand and develop acting acumen for every level of experience, from beginner to working actors. It allows for true collaborative exploration of the acting craft and opportunities to develop and apply practical instruction and advice.
We invite everyone who would like to immerse themselves in a rewarding craft which not only nourishes talent and skill but also encourages self exploration!
Beginner Agenda
- Introduction - Common vocabulary, script analysis, character and scene development, and monologues, on-camera scene & acting exercises
- Improvisation - Observational skills, self-awareness, on-camera scene & acting exercises.
- How to - Audition, self-tape, requirements, on-camera scene & acting exercises.
- Headshots and resumes. How to get representation.
Intermediate Agenda
- Analyze the text and objective
- Memorization

Development Agenda
- Robert Morgalo and his team will work with you to create a customized agenda to fit your development goals.

- Dates/Days: 3 Saturdays each month beginning Saturday May 11, 2024 and running thru Saturday, Jan 25, 2025
- Time: 11am - 2pm
- Cost: $160.00 per month*

Robert Morgalo, Program Director
Robert J Morgalo is a multi-award winning actor, director, producer, screenwriter and published author. A retired and disabled US Army veteran who served in Iraq from 2003-2004, he started acting at the age of 52, three years after retiring from the Army. He currently has over 45 film and television credits and has done over 50 commercial projects. You may have seen him as Frank on the national USAA commercial with Super Bowl Champion Rob Gronkowski or on NBC's Law & Order SVU opposite Ice-T and Kelli Giddish. Robert has also written and produced nine film projects, receiving numerous awards from film festivals from around the world.
