Outer Village presents: Interlocked - A Various Artists Album Release @ Basement CPH

Outer Village invites you to our event at Basement CPH for the release of our first Various Artists album. The album is entitled Interlocked and aims to emphasize local talent in contemporary deep-end electronic music, with a focus on breakbeats and the bass-oriented. Expect a wide range of styles from talented artists, many of whom are new to showcasing their original music in an official format.
We will introduce some of the tunes along the way, as we also launch a total of 3 singles in April, leading up to the final album launch. Save the date and prepare for an evening of contemplation, as well as an opportunity to get involved with a new producer-oriented community in the Outer rims of the underground scenes.

What is Outer Village?

Outer Village is an estate of experienced electronic music producers with common grounds in pushing deep electronica. It’s a collective of producers with an experimental outlook inspired by alien grooves, ambivalent ambience, noise-infused soundscapes and distorted breakbeats.
A crucial part of its identity is an insistence on an eclectic approach, welcoming and encouraging new blends and styles. The Village works actively toward hybrid outputs, expanding our roots to support fresh connections in the Copenhagen underground. So far, the Village has had a total of 4 releases from M-71, Rune Søltoft, Mindloader & Unstate, which showcases hybrid interests in everything from breakbeat and deep Drum & Bass to ambient textures.

Safe space and community in The Village

We strive to create a space for, at its core, music exploration and production for other like-minded individuals, who like us are soul searching in electronic music. At our events, safe space rules are in place: We strive to create a room for full freedom of expression, so take care of each other, be open minded, respect each other's personal spaces and let us know if anything occurs during the evening.
If you’re searching for a place to develop musically and emotionally, our producer community is always open. We work toward creating an organic community of like-minded individuals, online and now also in the physical realm. Interlocked is one such step in this direction.
