About this Event
EVENT DETAILS:
FBC LA and our pals at the Audubon Center at Debs Park are teaming up for an outdoor screening of Listers — a delightfully absurd documentary about the competitive and occasionally unhinged world of extreme birding.
This event is for everybody, whether you're just starting to feel bird-curious or you're nearing the end of a Big Year of your own.
Bundle up in warm clothes, and feel free to bring blankets, camping chairs, and snacks. We'll provide the warm bevvies (BYO mug), good company, and no promises, but maybe an owl flyover or two??
Please note that while we love every single furry friend, pets will need to stay home. The Audubon Center is home to many of our local wildlife friends, and the scent of pets can scare off some sensitive species.
Doors will open at 6:30, and we'll hit play at 7:00. The movie is 2 hours long.
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Parking is available on site. If the parking lot is full, please park along Griffin Ave. There is a short 5-minute dirt path that leads you up to the Audubon Center. If this is your first time at the amazing Audubon Center, we encourage you to arrive on the early side since it's pretty dark up there at night. More info about the Center can be found at https://www.audubon.org/debs-park/visit.
ACCESSIBILITY:
There are ADA parking spots available at the Center. If you have any questions about accessibility or ideas for how we can improve accessibility, please reach out.
