About this Event

Join us at Sunshine Community Gardens for an outdoor screening of THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM. This film chronicles the eight-year quest of John and Molly Chester as they trade city living for 200 acres of barren farmland and a dream to harvest in harmony with nature.
Through dogged perseverance and embracing the opportunity provided by nature's conflicts, the Chester’s unlock and uncover a biodiverse design for living that exists far beyond their farm, its seasons, and our wildest imagination.

Featuring breathtaking cinematography, captivating animals, and an urgent message to heed Mother Nature’s call, THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM provides us all a vital blueprint for better living and a healthier planet.

In addition to the movie, enjoy a campfire with hot chocolate and s'mores. You are welcome to bring hotdogs to roast over the campfire or any other snacks or potluck items you like. Bring your own chair or blanket. Children are welcome.

NEO may also provide a telescope if weather and skies permit.

This screening is made possible by Sunshine Community Gardens and Nature & Eclectic Outdoors (NEO).

Refreshments will be available starting at 5:30 PM, and the screening will begin at 6:00 PM.

Free parking is available at the large Texas Department of State Health Services garage across the street from the garden.

We hope to see you there!
