Dr Sara Knight has been described in the Journal of Outdoor and Environmental Education in 2018 as ‘arguably the most prolific and influential author on Forest School to date’. Since retiring as a University lecturer she has continued to play in the woods, research playing in the woods and to write about playing in the woods.
