Calling all Worcester MA, Main South Area Residents, Business Owners, and Creatives. WCUW 91.3FM is Celebrating 50 years as your Community Non Profit Radio Station. The Station is shining a Spotlight on the Main South Neighborhood and Celebrating the Stories of this vibrant community.
With funding from TDI Mass Development Creative Catalyst Grant, WCUW is throwing a series of Popup events and an Outdoor Festival to take place on August 10th at Fuller Family Park.
WCUW is reaching out to the Residents, Business Owners and Creative Entrepreneurs of the Main South Neighborhood to participate in this event series as Vendors, Performers, Sponsors and Volunteers. The Station will in turn, advertise all participants on its Website, Mailing List, and Social Media, and on the Air on 91.3FM.
As a part of this project The Station and it’s associates are also looking for Storytellers. WCUW is seeking 40-50 Participants from Main South to Share a story from their life. These stories and personal accounts will be recorded and preserved in a historical archive. Some stories will be selected for broadcast on WCUW 91.3 FM as a special series entitled “Broadcasting Our Stories Brings them to life”

Apply now, by completing a participant Survey. Applications are being accepted now through June 30th and Official Invitations to participate will be sent to applicants the first week of July.
